The month of September marks the end of the harvest with the last parcels of red grapes being picked on September 21, 2022. We ended this beautiful day with a convivial meal between colleagues to celebrate the new vintage in preparation.

This year, despite the hot weather, we reached our objectives for the three colors of the Iris and Oddo lines.

On the cellar side, the fermentations are finished for our last rosés, after a period of cold stabulation. This stage allows us to increase the expression of the aromas by a prolonged contact between the juice and the lees (i.e. the pips and skins). We then begin the blending for the whites and rosés. Our reds are at the end of fermentation and are in the middle of pressing. The next step is the malolactic fermentation in vats and barrels which will naturally decrease the acidity of the wine.

Our impressions of this vintage:
We harvested a very nice Syrah this year, destined for our "Reserve" wines.
The first juices tasted have revealed the aromatic profile of the future vintages. This 2022 vintage is already very promising.
