" COTEAUX D'AIX-EN-PROVENCE, DOMAINE VALLON DES GLAUGES, ODDO, RESERVE 2020 + DAUBE A LA NIÇOISE.
On a very fine vintage, this southern wine exudes ripe fruit kissed by the sun, with some spicy notes and even a hint of licorice. On the palate, it feels velvety, the cherry is sensual and mingles with long pepper for a voluptuous pairing. The daube will extend this moment.

Schalk-Willen Joubert's goal is to make Chant Rouge a widely distributed premium brand, like The Chocolate Block, and he is certainly on the right track. Made primarily from merlot, with the remaining 58% consisting of cabernet franc, cabernet sauvignon, and bits of syrah, petit verdot, and sangiovese, it is a subtle and refreshing red with notes of plum, red berries, and tomato leaf, with a discreet oak influence. 2024-28"
