The nero d'avola and syrah vines that make up this cuvée are grown in the hills above Serra Ferdinandea in Sicily. The initial nose is ripe, reminiscent of guava, while the palate is suave. "Harvest Table" is more than just a book. It's a veritable culinary bible, offering a selection of the best recipes from the three countries - South Africa, Italy and France - in which the Oddo family has set up its wineries. "This book tells our story through each country, with the help of Monché Muller, chef of the Pink Valley restaurant in South Africa," says Lorraine Oddo. The project began with a casual chat about good food and wine, and has evolved into a more complete project based around this book, in which we present not only our culinary favourites, but also all our teams around the world".

In a thick volume of over three hundred pages, "Harvest Table" brings together, against a backdrop of sublime images, a fine gallery of portraits and scenes from life, alongside tasty recipes such as "Catherine's stuffed cabbage", cooked at the Domaine du Vallon des Glauges, which will make any lover of good food salivate. Farther afield, recipes for tummale di ricotta (Sicilian cheesecake) or South African mielibrood (cornbread) are sure to entice you to travel. This book has already won two awards at the Gourmand

World Cookbook Awards 2022 (the "Oscars" of the cookbook world), in the "Food and Drink" and "International" categories. A testament to quality if ever one was needed. "

  • Vallon des Glauges: Oddo blanc 2022 to drink and "Harvest table" to read - Le Grand Pastis - 16/07/2023 (Extrait)

"Some people collect hats, but the Oddo family collects vineyards. Now at the helm of six estates in Provence, Sancerre, Rioja, Sicily and South Africa, Pascal and Lorraine Oddo laid the foundation stone for this wine empire in 2015 at Eyguières, at the foot of the Alpilles . This family of self-described "winegrower-citizens of the world as they describe themselves, began converting their Provencal estate, Vallon des Glauges, to organic farming in 2020. After 3 years, as required by the specifications for organic viticulture, they have reached their destination. (...)

A la table des vendanges, the book to devour from the Vallon des Glauges to South Africa. This is the result of a collective adventure. It all began with a casual chat about good food and wine between members of the Oddo family and Monché Muller, chef at the Pink Valley restaurant in South Africa. The sketch of a recipe book turned into a beautiful book that recounts the sense of sharing and the pleasures of wine, when paired with food prepared with love. The recipes vary according to the vineyards and culture of each country, but also according to the history of each estate: some are traditional, while others, more contemporary, have been reinvented especially for this book. In Harvest Table , you'll discover the family's favorite recipes for each of their estates. (...) "

  • From the Glauges to South Africa, the Oddo family saga - La Provence - Stéphane ROSSI - 17/07/2023 (Extrait)

" Each wine has its own identity

In each of these estates, in these parts of the world, the Oddo family has put a lot of heart into crafting highly accomplished wines. Each wine has its own identity," she explains. Each time, we've been very selective," continues Lorraine Oddo. Each estate produces only one color of wine, except at Vallon des Glauges, where we've launched red wine production alongside rosé and white, on land that lends itself well to it, since it's on the former bed of the Durance".

In fact, with such a broad range of activities, the Oddo family has succeeded in making its mark just about everywhere in the world. England, Sweden, Singapore, Hong Kong, Korea... the list of new markets is growing daily. The icing on the cake is that, for us Provençals, there's no need to cross the planet. The unique feature of the Oddo estates is that all their wines can be found in each of their cellars. Now you know that you can go to Eyguières and taste a wine from South Africa or Sicily. "
