“Harvest Table” is more than just a book. It is a veritable culinary bible featuring a selection of the best recipes from the three countries—South Africa, Italy, and France—where the Oddo family has made their home on their vineyards. “This book tells our story through each country, with the help of Monché Muller, chef at the Pink Valley restaurant in South Africa,” says Lorraine Oddo. “This project began as a casual conversation about good food and wine and evolved into a more substantial project centered on this book, in which we’ve shared our culinary favorites, as well as our entire team around the world.”
"Harvest Table" brings together, in a substantial volume of over three hundred pages and set against a backdrop of stunning images, a beautiful collection of portraits and scenes of daily life, alongside mouthwatering recipes such as "Catherine’s Stuffed Cabbage"—created by the chef at the Domaine du Vallon des Glauges—that are sure to make any food lover’s mouth water. From further afield, recipes for tummale di ricotta (Sicilian cheesecake) or South African mielibrood (cornbread) are sure to inspire you to travel. This book has already won two Gourmand Awards.
World Cookbook Awards 2022 (the “Oscars” of the cookbook world), in the “Food and Drink” and “International” categories. A true mark of quality. “

- Vallon des Glauges: Oddo blanc 2022 to drink and "Harvest table" to read - Le Grand Pastis - 16/07/2023 (Extrait)
“While some people collect baseball caps, the Oddo family collects vineyards. Now at the helm of six estates—in Provence, the Sancerre region, La Rioja, Sicily, and South Africa—Pascal and Lorraine Oddo laid the foundation for this wine-growing empire in 2015 in Eyguières, at the foot of the Alpilles. This family of “winemakers and global citizens,” as they describe themselves, began the conversion to organic farming at Vallon des Glauges, their Provençal estate (which had previously practiced sustainable agriculture), in 2020. After three years, as required by the specifications for organic viticulture, they have now reached their goal. (…)
At the Harvest Table: A Must-Read Book from the Vallon des Glauges to South Africa. As you flip through its pages, you’ll discover the result of a wonderful collective adventure. It all began during a casual conversation about fine cuisine and wine between members of the Oddo family and Monché Muller, chef at the Pink Valley restaurant in South Africa. What started as a sketch of a recipe book has turned into a beautiful volume that celebrates the spirit of sharing and the pleasures of wine when paired with dishes prepared with love. The recipes vary according to the vineyards and the culture of each country, but also according to the history of each estate: some are traditional, while others, more contemporary, have been reinvented specifically for this book. Harvest Table ( “the harvest table”) invites you to discover the family’s favorite recipes selected for each of their estates. (…) “

- From the Glauges to South Africa, the Oddo family saga - La Provence - Stéphane ROSSI - 17/07/2023 (Extrait)
" Every wine has its own identity"
At each of these estates, in these corners of the world, the Oddo family has poured their heart and soul into crafting truly exceptional wines.“Each wine has its own identity, ”she explains . “We’ve always been very selective,” Lorraine Oddo continues. “Each estate produces only one type of wine, except at Vallon des Glauges, where, in addition to rosé and white, we’ve started producing red wine on land that’s well-suited to it, since it lies on the former bed of the Durance River.”
In fact, with such a wide range of wines, the Oddo family has managed to establish itself all over the world. England, Sweden, Singapore, Hong Kong, Korea… the list of new markets grows a little longer every day. The icing on the cake is that we, as Provençals, don’t have to travel across the globe. Because what sets the Oddo estates apart is that each of their cellars offers the entire range of their wines. You now know that going to Eyguières to taste a wine from South Africa or Sicily is now a reality. »
