Our story

A rebirth in the heart of the Alpilles

Founded in the early 1990, the Domaine ODDO Vallon des Glauges experienced a true renaissance when Pascal Oddo and his daughter Lorraine, captivated by the breathtaking beauty of the site, decided to revive this exceptional place in. 2015. Passionate about wine and driven by the desire to reveal the full potential of this terroir, they embarked on an ambitious winemaking adventure.

The Oddo family replants over 20 hectares of vines, completely reorganizes the cellar, modernizes the offices, the tasting area, and restructures the entire architecture of the estate. With this transformation, they also develop wine tourism, sharing their passion and expertise with visitors from around the world.

The Domaine ODDO Vallon des Glauges is the founding project of the Oddo family and marks the beginning of a winemaking adventure that led to the creation of the international group Oddo Vins & Domaines. Their philosophy is based on a simple principle: select the best terroirs and surround themselves with the most prestigious partners in world-renowned appellations.

Soucieux de préserver cette terre d’exception tout en lui apportant le meilleur développement possible, le Domaine ODDO Vallon des Glauges pratique depuis ses débuts une viticulture raisonnée.

In 2020, the Domaine began its conversion to organic farming with a real commitment to the terroir, which was completed in 2023.This Organic Farming ensures complete harmony between the needs of the vine and the ecosystem.

The protection of biodiversity is at the heart of the Domaine's commitments. From soil work to winemaking, we create our own green fertilizers and practice agroforestry. Sheep graze to promote the development of microorganisms necessary for the proper growth of the vine. Careful pruning and harvesting at the coolest hours allow us to control the quality of our grapes.

Among the vines, olive trees, and garrigue, we host beehives, promoting pollination. The Domaine offers its olive oil and rosemary honey.

Our commitment

Organic farming

In the heart of a rare botanical flora and protected fauna, the Domaine is located in a valley that naturally preserves the vineyard while providing significant natural ventilation. The unique terroir of the Domaine ODDO Vallon des Glauges, which we wished to keep intact, possesses a multiculture conducive to the production of characterful wines and olive oils. The recent installation of beehives also allows for the production of high-quality local honey near the Domaine.

Surrounded by a mineral nature, combined with the Mediterranean climate, the vineyard located on the ancient bed of the Durance benefits from an exceptional terroir.

Near the Tour des Opies, the highest point of the Alpilles, the very rocky slopes offer highly aromatic berries while maintaining significant minerality, allowing for a beautiful length in the wines.

They are located at the boundary of the IGP Alpilles and AOP Coteaux d'Aix-en-Provence. The Domaine also offers an olive oil. The Domaine also offers an olive oil The terroir
